Mini Binder Love & Printable

I found this mini binder (half the size of a standard binder) in Staples, bought it on a whim and loved it ever since. The perfect size for carrying and with all the accessories now offered works just as well as a full size.

Elephant Pinwheel Bow Tutorial

We’re Alabama Football fans so when I saw these elephant bows floating around Etsy I just had to make one for my daughter. I’ve never made a hair bow before….ever. This elephant bow was my first one and I promise they are soooo easy!

Getting ready for school–Morning Organization

Hi, my name is Jessie and I DON’T do mornings…..at all. From the time I was in school to the time my children began, mornings are not my thing. Problem is neither is preparing for the next morning. Where most moms are on top of things getting ready for school the next day, I’m one of those scrambling to throw everything together at 6AM in full sleep zombie mode. Fixing school lunch is still a hot mess BUT I have managed to get a clothing system that works.

During the school year I keep all their uniforms/school clothes stacked in crates over the washer. This keeps me organized and it saves a bunch of time moving clothes to the closet just for them to be pulled right back out 4 days later. I always add the clean clothes to the bottom and that way I know everything is getting cycled.

Last year I posted up the cute bookbag I ordered for my daughter from BenLovesBirdy. She also hooked my son up this year. They are upcycled Pottery Barn bags, such a great bargain.

I heart Moo Cards

Moo is awesome. I love their mini moo cards. For years I carried around full size and they always stayed in my purse. With the mini moo I can keep them on my keychain and they get handed out much more often. Also customer service is amazing. I made a mistake on my last order (completely my fault) they still offered to reprint and send for free.

Quick Tip: Reward Store Cards on Keychain

Seems like everywhere you shop nowadays they’re wanting to give you a points or coupon card. Some (CVS, Walgreens, Regal) provide you with a handy keychain card. Others, like Sephora, hand you a credit card size. I can never keep up with those so I cut them down (leaving the barcode/numbers) then punch a hole. I’ve even seen someone punch a hole in all their Credit Card size and slip them on their own key ring then just keep it in their purse (for those with a large amount of them).
